Collecting your diploma

Collection of University Degrees

As soon as your diploma is available, we will send you an email, so you can collect it. If you think your diploma is taking too long or simply you want to know the status of your application, you have 2 options:

1.- You may ask at the Students Management Service.
2.- You may access the printing Company Website, using your id and your birth date, to know the status of your application.

If we have already notified you that your diploma is available and you wish to collect it at the University of Cádiz:

We are the Student Management Service, located at Hospital Real, Plaza Falla, 8, Cádiz. Our public service hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Options for collecting your diploma:

  • In person (don’t forget to bring your ID card/passport/foreign national ID number – DNI/passport/NIE).

 – You may authorize another person to collect your official diploma on your behalf through an “apoderamiento apud acta” (a formal proxy authorization).
We explain how to do this [here]. This service is free of charge.

 – Using a Notarial Power of Attorney granted by the degree holder.

 – You can also request to have the diploma sent to:

Sending the Official University Degree to Algeciras (E.T.S. Ingeniería de Algeciras)
Sending the Official University Degree to the Government Sub-delegation (within Spain)
Sending the Official University Degree Abroad (Nearest Embassy/Consulate) – SENDING YOUR DIPLOMA ABROAD (TO THE NEAREST EMBASSY OR CONSULATE)

To avoid unnecessary waiting, an appointment system has been implemented for diploma collection.

Please do not come to our offices without a prior appointment, to ensure that we can assist you properly.

You must schedule your appointment in advance before coming [here].

Please remember that you can book your appointment up to 15 days in advance, and that the University of Cádiz is closed during the month of August.

You can check the opening hours for diploma collection at the following link: (Public service hours).
