Mission, Vision and Values

Mission

The Student Services Area, in line with the University of Cadiz’s Strategic Plan and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), efficiently manages resources to oversee various student-related processes. These include curriculum management, guidance initiatives, general information dissemination, pre-registration and admission procedures, programs for mature students, enrollment oversight, department secretariats assistance, internship management, scholarship processing, national mobility programs, and certificate and academic degree issuance. Our primary goal is to provide comprehensive academic support to all stakeholders, enabling their professional and personal development.

Vision

The Student Services Department aims to set the standard for delivering high-quality services to the university community, with a strong focus on students. We seek recognition for our dedicated and professional staff, their commitment to the institution and society, active participation in continuous improvement processes, and a forward-thinking approach that combines experience with the integration of new technologies to better understand the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

Values

The actions of the Student Services Area are guided by a strong commitment to legality, objectivity, continuous improvement, and transparent decision-making. These principles align with the professional ethics, discretion, and diligence expected of public employees, as outlined in the Peñalver Code, adopted by the University Senate on November 29, 2005.
